As soon as you book your appointment, you might have a question about what to wear. Well, have no fear, that's what I'm here for. You can find all of that under the "what to wear" section located at the bottom of this page.
YES ! Bring as many props as you want. The more props, the merrier.

In 2 to 3 weeks for regular photo sessions from the day you pick your final edits. Weekends not included. I also have the option to pay for a quicker turnaround time to get them back sooner.
Wedding photos can take anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks from the day you pick your final edits. Weekends not included.
In some cases, the photographers’ workload may result in a longer turnaround time.
The locations of the photo session is up to you . I do have a photography studio in Lakeland FL. If you need help deciding on a location, you can check out different locations I have taken photos under the "Portfolio" section titled "Locations".
Yes, I do offer prints which you can find the pricing for those under the "A La Carte" section located in the "Pricing" section. You can normally expect prints ready a week after the digital images are finished.
No I do not. Most times when shooting, I'll take 1 or 2 multiple test shots to ensure the lighting is correct. All other shots that are not delivered might have had simple small issues that may dilute the overall product delivery.
I normally don't take pictures of kids under the age of 3 (by themselves), funerals and sporting events.
Anything outside of Polk County depends on the location. Those fee’s can be found under the additional things to add on to your package on the booking page.

Outfit changes are welcomed and encouraged; feel free to bring along casual and/or formal attire. Shirts that are more form fitting to show off the belly work best!
A dress is comfortable and always a good look. Something that flows but still form fitting to compliment that beautiful growing belly.
If you would like to show off that bear belly in a casual way bring along a pair of jeans that do not have a large belly band, these tend to leave marks on your skin. A buttoned up shirt works well with this look; if you don't have one borrow your husbands!
If you would like to include family members in your portrait session, have everyone wear the same color or hue and stay at the same level of dressiness. You don't have to be super matchy- matchy, just colors that compliment one another.
I am open to you bringing small props like baby shoes, stuffed animals, baby blocks, or your own maternity sash.
Along with that beautiful belly, your hands will play a large part in a maternity session; please make sure your nails are clear or recently manicured.
COLOR COLOR COLOR!! Vibrant, bright colors make for happy pictures! Wear the same solid color or a few slightly different hues of the same color works best. Or do something fun like the ladies wearing purple and all of the gentleman wearing blue.
Avoid mixing prints and patterns, it can be distracting and take away from the main focus, which is you!
Texture and layers photograph well and can add extra visual interest without being to distracting.
Wear clothes that are the same level of dressiness. Don’t dress up when everyone else is wearing everyday street clothes.
Feet may show in the portrait, so be sure to wear shoes that compliment the outfit you are wearing.
Dress children comfortably but in the same color and style as the rest of the group.
Everyone should match on their lower half; all jeans or all slacks. Women may wear skirts as long as they match the color and material as everyone else.
If you are a little nervous about color, start with a neutral base (greys, browns) and add colorful accessories like scarfs, shoes, and ties!
Props are welcome; keep it simple, location appropriate, and true to your families interests.
When extended family is included: Each individual family can coordinate their our outfits together. For very large groups, picking a single colored shirt for everyone can be easiest.
Wear layers and textures, button-down or collared shirts work great
Try to avoid black or white shirts. Wear bright colors or earth tones (purples, greens, blues, brown, and deep reds).
Don’t be afraid to wear a striped or patterned shirt. I normally discourage it but for senior portraits it can help display your character and personal style!
If you’re going for a casual look, a nice pair of jeans is the perfect complement.
Accessories are fun and easy to remove to switch up your look; scarves, high-heels, hats.
Choose a simple classic styes, this will not look dated as styles change.
Wear mid-ranged and darker colors. Solid colors such as blue, brown, gray, red, and green are best for both men and women.
Avoid busy patterns, large amounts of white, and very bright colors. You want to draw attention to your face and use your clothing as a frame.
Suits tailored from structured fabrics such as wool or linen work well. Single breasted suits or jackets tend to lay better when you are sitting for a portrait.
Avoid fabrics that winkle easily.
Women with long hair should choose a jacket that is a different tone from their hair, otherwise the hair and jacket tend to run together when photographed.
If you prefer casual clothes, scarves, hats or small props, please bring them along.
Wear a solid color shirt. Prints and patterns do not photograph nearly as well, and may take away from the focal point of the headshot--your face. You can stick to a basic white or black.
Decide what type of neckline accentuates your features. If you want to elongate your neck, wear a v-neck. To show off your collarbones, wear a scoop-necked shirt. If you are large chested, make sure you wear a higher neckline.
Resist the urge to wear accessories. In terms of a model headshot, less is more. You want your headshot to be simple, elegant, and representative of you.
Wear makeup, but don't overdo it. You need a nice base that will photograph well, but you still want to look like yourself in the headshot
